Offered for sale is this gorgeous, clean and honest 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Carbio finished in classic Guards Red over Black Leather interior. Believed to be all original paint with the exception of the passenger rear quarter - digital paint meter readings show at 4-5.5mils across the entire car (photos available).
Owned by it's second owner (based in West Virginia) from 1991 until traded into a dealership this year, this 911 was well-loved and it shows in it's condition. Clean Carfax included in the album.
Recent maintenance includes an annual 15-k mile interval service, including an oil change, new battery, hood and trunk shocks, and a new window switch.
Runs and drives wonderfully. The engine comes to life quickly and easily with no smoking or leaks. Clutch feel is excellent and shifting through the desirable G50 5-Speed Manual Transmission is smooth and satisfying. Brakes stop the convertible impressively with zero drama.
EXTERIOR: 9.5/10 – The classic Guards Red paint is in superb condition overall with only a handful of small rockchips touched up with OEM paint on the lower front fascia.. Believed to be all original paint with no resprays, with the exception of the passenger rear quarter (paint readings are consistent with these findings).
INTERIOR: 9/10 – The interior of this 911 is in very good condition overall with very little wear. Minor wear is limited to the original shift knob (pictured) and the drivers side sear bolster. Everything inside is all original with the exception of an added aftermarket CD player.
