Offered for sale is this gorgeous 2004 Subaru STi finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over classic Blue/Black STi interior. This STi was acquired from its first and original California-based owner who purchased the car from Santa Cruz Subaru in February 2004 with just 9 miles on the odometer. Clean Carfax. 1-owner, Life-long California car – absolutely zero rust!
Runs and drives great and always well-maintained (large stack of service records available from new). Timing Belt and water pump service done @60k. Andrewtech inspected. 100% OEM and never been modified – very rare to find these days.
EXTERIOR: 9/10 – The Platinum Silver Metallic paint is in very good condition overall with only a handful of minor imperfections as seen in the gallery. Front lower splitters have been resprayed due to scuffing. Overall condition is very good with excellent shine and no swirls.
INTERIOR: 10/10 – The interior of this STi is in great shape overall with no wear visible on the seats, shift knob or steering wheel. The black and blue seats are well-bolstered and are finished with stitched STi logos. The dash is clean with no cracking or fading. The original Subaru 6-disc CD player remains (a factory option for 04; standard in 05).
DRIVETRAIN: 10/10 – The 300-hp Flat 4 Cylinder EJ257 launches the STi to 60mph in just 4.6 seconds and revs very smoothly though the range. The 6-speed transmission with Driver Controlled Center Differential shifts smoothly with no grinding. Clutch feel is very good with no signs of wear. The STi-specific Brembo brakes stop the car impressively and have plenty of life left in both the pads and rotors. Exhibits typical Subaru rear strut clunk (driver rear).
