Offered for sale is this unique, refurbished 1954 Dodge C-1 Town Panel Truck (Van). Recently refinished in a two-tone combination of Metallic Brown lower contrasted with a non-metallic Ivory upper section split by chrome trim. The original grille and bumpers have been refinished in a flat black and set of modern LED headlights have been added to match the restomod vibe.
Inside the reupholstered cab, the front features two brown leather bucket seats with Ivory rear shells facing an Ivory painted dash emblazoned with the motto "Born to be Wild." Behind the original-style steering wheel, the driver faces a simple dash with a large speed/odometer and three aftermarket gauges for Water Temp, Voltage, and Oil Pressure set in a custom metal surround. New carpeting has been installed in the front of the cab.
The rear of this Panel Van features a wide-open storage area accessed by two large swing-away doors. A custom-cut piece of Birch has been installed as a false floor and provides a solid and handsome surface for whatever you are hauling. Side paneling the rear matches the upholstery in the rest of the van with custom leather paneling in a two-tone pattern to match the exterior.
The van sits on a lowered suspension which gives it a nice stance atop a set of polished Cragar wheels. Opening the butterfly-style hood panels reveals a lightly modified 350ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end. A custom exhaust system exits on both sides just before the rear wheels. The van sounds great and runs nicely down the road. Braking is handled by a set of upgraded discs and calipers up front with drilled/slotted rotors and drums in the rear.
