This low-mileage example has been very well kept; includes three keys and original owner’s manual. Recent service includes fluids, and new coolant expansion tank.

EXTERIOR: - The jet black paintwork is in very good condition overall and presents extremely well with a deep shine. Chrome bright work around the windows, grill, leaper emblem, and bumpers is in excellent shape. Subtle badging on the rear separates this top-of-the-range v12 model from its V8 counterpart. The large stately Jaguar grill is finished in chrome and topped with a gold Jaguar badge; the vehicle also features the iconic Jaguar ‘leaper’ hood ornament.


INTERIOR: - The interior of this XJ12 is in stunning shape overall with leather and wood abound. The tan dash is clean with no cracks; controls are bright with no fading. Luxurious tan leather seating surfaces in the front and rear are in excellent condition. All gauges and interior functions are working as they should. Wood trim in the interior on the dash, door panels and other surfaces is largely in excellent shape with some minor delamination on the ashtray cover and overhead dome light surround (pictured in gallery). Dual wood picnic trays fold out from the rear seats to allow a convenient surface for the rear seat passengers. Subtle hints about the v12 under the hood appear inside the cabin as well, with gold leaf ‘v12’ lettering on the dash above the glovebox.


DRIVETRAIN: - The 6.0L V12 engine runs as smooth as silk and is factory rated to 301hp; more than enough to comfortably waft the large sedan down the road. The torquey v12 is mated to an automatic transmission with sport and comfort modes. The engine fires up with no drama and runs extremely smoothly. The transmission shifts smoothly through the range. Brakes and tires are similarly in good shape with plenty of life in both.
